This Privacy Policy explains how Song Spark LLC collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use RetouchResistance.com, the website where users create accounts and obtain licensed access to digital story Entries for the Retouch Reality reader application.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you purchase access to Entries, we also retain purchase records associated with your account. Complete payment card information is collected and processed by Stripe, not by Song Spark LLC.
We use your information to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, associate purchased Entries with your account email, provide customer support, send receipts and account communications, maintain website security, comply with legal obligations, and provide access to purchased Entries in the Retouch Reality application.
Your email address is collected only during account creation. We may use it to send purchase confirmations, receipts, important account, legal, and security notices, and optional notifications when new Entries become available. New Entry notification emails may be turned off in the Retouch Reality application Settings or by deleting your account. Essential account, legal, security, and transactional emails may still be sent when necessary.
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Song Spark LLC does not receive or store your complete payment card number, security code, or other full payment credentials.
Purchased Entry access is associated with your account email. To access previously purchased Entries in the Retouch Reality application, you should sign in using the same account email used when your purchases were made.
RetouchResistance.com provides access to a fictional work of entertainment. The story, Entries, artwork, and related materials intentionally contain fictional events, fictional technology, and impossible claims. These narrative elements are part of the story and do not describe the real-world capabilities of the website or the Retouch Reality application.
The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for authentication, security, user preferences, shopping functions, and basic website operation. We do not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies at this time.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers, including Stripe for payment processing and providers that help operate our services, or when required by law.
We retain account and purchase records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide access to purchased Entries, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect your information. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You may update your account information, disable optional New Entry notification emails through the Retouch Reality application Settings, or request deletion of your account. Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, purchase verification, or other legitimate business purposes.
RetouchResistance.com is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will include a revised effective date.
